Bell Helicopter is seeking a Manager, Culture and People Development for our international operation located at corporate headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas.

Job Description

The Manager, Culture and People Development, reporting directly to the Director, Talent Management, will be responsible for leading the development and execution of Bell Helicopter’s talent programs to drive culture change, such as succession planning, performance management, and creating and implementing learning and development strategies to support the achievement of the strategic business goals of the company.  Primary responsibility is to manage a team responsible for driving organizational performance through effective and consistent utilization of programs, processes, and resources to support growth through the employee lifecycle.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Leads the team which develops and implements Bell Helicopter’s talent strategy and integrates Textron’s enterprise talent objectives.

Oversees the design and implementation of people strategies, including the annual company-wide talent review process, monthly talent focus with executive leaders, succession planning, performance reviews, and related systems.

Works with leaders to align programs and processes to build the organization’s capability through effective talent development and change management.

Consult and advise on engagement and retention efforts across the organization.

Builds partnerships with business leadership and HR partners to increase consistency and capability to align our talent strategy and manage change effectively.

Manages curriculum development processes and delivery methodology that adheres to overarching training strategies, standards and tools

Manages professional development training delivery, training development, and required change management

Ensures successful implementation of coaching, team building and assessment programs

Ensures timely and accurate administration of all training records and Learning Management Systems

Oversees the regional delivery of Textron University courses Assesses needs/performance gaps, designs and implements training and other interventions to ensure the workforce is prepared in all technical, managerial, professional and compliance areas to meet the company’s business objectives.','!*!Skills and Experience

A successful candidate will have strong leadership experience and business acumen. They will possess a blend of general business and organizational change strategy competencies, proven talent development leadership, and leadership coaching skills.

8-10 years’ experience in related field with Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field required (e.g., Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, or related discipline).

5-8 years’ experience with Master’s Degree preferred

Demonstrated experience in talent management, strategic planning, organizational development, change management, professional leadership development, learning and development or related disciplines within a global or matrix organization. Previous leadership role preferred.

Knowledge of talent management principles and leadership development principles.

Demonstrated consulting skills and specific experience in consulting on large scale strategic change initiatives.

Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated experience in building trusting relationships at all levels of the organization, including senior executives.

Possess the ability to maximize the potential of the team, effectively organizing the team’s efforts, investing in the team’s development, and creating a compelling vision inspiring outstanding performance.

Excellent leadership, coaching, consulting, change facilitation, and team-building skills

Project management experience on large/complex projects, preferably in leading training design, development and deployment
