Performs work in more than one of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
 
The successful Maintenance candidate will be responsible for alteration of equipment, machinery, building, and facilities by performing duties personally and with facilities maintenance teammates.
Responsibilities

Working closely with EHS Engineer, assists in providing a safe and effective work environment by overseeing, directing, and performing equipment installations, facilities equipment repair, preventive maintenance initiatives, and handling/shipping of hazardous materials and hazardous waste.
Ensures building and grounds are maintained by performing, delegating, or contracting general maintenance duties.
Functions as a troubleshooter by responding to requests for maintenance and repair assistance from all departments at Triumph Actuations Systems - Clemmons.
Performs work in more than one of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine, and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
Makes routing, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment,
Interprets blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
Sets up and operates all tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned work.

Contributes to team effort by maintaining a positive outlook.
Complies with all company policies and procedures, including safety requirements.
Other duties as assigned to ensure customer needs are met.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED.
Certificates in maintenance work from an accredited vocational college or documented equivalent years of experience.
Two (2) to five (5) years in a manufacturing environment performing maintenance duties.

Associates degree in a technical discipline, 49 CFR Hazardous Materials certification, 40 CFR Hazardous Waste certification preferred.

May require lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying up to fifty (50) pounds.
Frequent bending, climbing stairs, and reaching.
Standing up to ten (10) hours per day, or a combination of sitting and standing up to ten (10) hours per day.

Must meet all regulatory requirements.
