Demonstrates Safe work practices and conforms to all AAM and OF safety protocols.  
Troubleshoots Mechanical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for industrial purposes.
Mentors and trains associates on proper mechanical maintenance techniques.
Drives and participates in the Preventative Maintenance program. Identify and maintain an updated parts list for equipment maintenance. 
Directs/coordinates activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and requirements.
Coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems.
Troubleshoots automated industrial equipment including, but not limited to, robotic systems.
Coordinates with contractors on new projects and building expansions.
Inspects and makes recommendations on the purchase of new/used Mechanical equipment. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process, and quality system.
Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
Verify the implementation of solutions.
Comply with all corporate environmental responsibilities such as, but not limited to; Adherence to all policies, procedures, and programs. Create and/or assist with continuous improvement initiatives.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.  Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical and/or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  Ability to use computers and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and any required job specific computer applications. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.  The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  The employee frequently is required to talk or hear and is occasionally required to climb.
