SUMMARY: This position is responsible for troubleshooting electronic circuitry and to help maintain electronic equipment. Other responsibilities include: assist in instituting new control systems; research and design better control and electrical systems; make sure all electronic equipment is operational during production; track and monitor reoccurring problems and provide solutions to correct these problems; help maintain equipment through PM procedures; identify weaknessesin e quipment related electronics and develop solutions; develop electronic solutions for equipment that could use the upgrade to enhance productivity or reliability; understand and function technically on all plant electronic equipment and be able to train operators and maintenance technicians on the operations, troubleshooting and repair of equipment; understand proprietary programs associated with scales and baggers; At times assist maintenance personnel in maintaining efficient production operation, and all other duties assigned by their supervisor. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Minimum Associates degree in Electronics or equivalent required. Experience: 3 years' experience preferred. Extensive electrical andelectronic schematic reading capability; PLC programming training or experience ,,,, Computer Skills: Basic computer skills preferred. Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills. Special Skills: Ability to run conduit and pullwire; understand and be able to determine substitute components to affect emergency repairs using alternate but same function parts. Team Members with 6 pts (6 instances) or more will not be considered. Also Team Members with a written warning or a suspension in the last 6 months will not be considered.
