Credit Risk Report Developer

Basic Function

Provide reporting and analytical support to the Credit Risk Management department. Act in a liaison capacity between the Credit Risk Management department and Technology personnel.

Essential Position Responsibilities

Provide analytical and reporting support using PC, client server, and\or mainframe applications.

Develop queries and programs to support department initiatives.

Generate ongoing and ad-hoc reports ensuring appropriate controls are maintained.

Analyze data pertaining to different departments and provide meaningful feedback to management.

Responsible for the documentation and maintenance of existing reporting processes.

Participate in the development, testing, documentation, and implementation of new systems.

Participate in the production of materials to be used for the purpose of training other team members on new or enhanced reports.

Participate in the training of end-users as needed.

Participate with the larger team on various departmental projects.

Responsible for performing tasks in a manner that are compliant with applicable laws and regulations. 

Perform other related assignments as requested by management.

Nature and Scope

The position is responsible for completing projects within established parameters.

The incumbent works under general supervision.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors’ degree in Information Systems, Finance or Business and three years’ experience, or in lieu of education seven years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills

Good working knowledge of PC, client-server, and \ or mainframe systems.

Strong familiarity with Microsoft office with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Good understanding of database concepts including database design and manipulation.

Experience with developing SQL server queries and the ability to decipher intermediate to advanced views \ stored procedures.

An understanding of general programing concepts.

Ideal Qualifications

An in depth knowledge of reporting development concepts with the ability to create and manipulate reports utilizing SQL and\or SAS.

Experience designing and preparing adhoc corporate reports.

Prior experience working with financial data.
