MBA INTERNSHIP PROGRAMOVERVIEW:

Medtronic’s

Summer Intern Program is designed specifically for high-potential,

high-performing MBA candidates. Internships

feature challenging assignments that enable you to dig in and quickly make

meaningful contributions.

We offer 10-12-week internships starting late

May or mid-June. You’ll have opportunities to network with peers, managers,

executive leaders, and experience our dynamic culture through social and

volunteer events. High-performing Summer Interns are considered for full-time

opportunities within our organization, including our Leadership Development

Rotation Program (LDRP). Our LDRP is a

3-year rotation program for MBA graduates consisting of two U.S. based

rotations in two different business areas.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Summer

Interns play a critical role in achieving business results by designing and

executing key marketing and business development strategies. They will gain

broad knowledge of Medtronic’s marketing, business development or strategy

functions and a detailed understanding of the role these functions play in the

areas in which assignments are completed.

Responsibilities

Working with teamsoperating within a service group, product group, and/or project group, such as:

Product/BrandManagement

MarketDevelopment

ProductPlanning

HealthcareEconomics

Business/ Corporate Development

Business/ Corporate Strategy

Assisting with thedevelopment, monitoring, coordination and implementation of projects.

Providing quantitativeand qualitative analysis, industry research, reporting and internalcommunication services with team members.

Investigating andcommunicating potential opportunities for process improvement as well aspotential project initiatives.

Working with differentdepartments including sales, marketing and business development to developknowledge of industry and organizational processes.

Internships

are temporary positions.

INTERNSHIPLOCATIONS

Depending

on business needs, we offer internship opportunities in a variety of locations

across the U.S., including Minneapolis, MN; Boulder/Louisville, CO; Boston, MA, New Haven,

CT; Memphis, TN; Northridge, CA; Santa Rosa, CA; and Miami, FL. If you're relocating

for the summer, we cover your travel expenses to your internship and back to

campus and subsidize your housing costs.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE ANDEXPERIENCE:

Currentlypursuing an MBA (class of 2020)

2years relevant experience

Broadtheoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education.

DESIRED/PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:

3 years ofprofessional work experience

Eligible to workin the U.S. on a permanent basis without the need for future sponsorshipfor an employment visa

Highlycollaborative with excellent communication, leadership, andstrategic-thinking skills

Bright, flexible,and results-oriented, with a high degree of humility

Ability tonavigate in a large, highly complex organization

Comfortable withambiguity (can
