Patuxent River,Maryland,United States EACNP2 Boeing is seeking a Logistics/Supply Chain Analyst to supporting our flight testing for the F-18, Super Hornet, Growler and others in Patuxent River, MD. As the Logistics/Supply Chain Analyst, you will be part of an integrated team supporting all parts, material, transportation, arranging shipments and delivery.

Responsibilities:

Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning for a government supply chain.

Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.

Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain. Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers.

Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan.

Coordinates part number attributes.

Verifies that released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system.

Releases and maintains orders.

Documents and resolves order delinquencies.

Reports schedule adherence issues.

Applies developed solutions to inventory plans.

Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories.

Creates schedules for products and services.

Coordinates and supports process improvements.

Participates in special projects.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills):

Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of Logistics, Supply Chain, Materials Management Service (MMS) or related

Adept with MS Office Products, specifically, Word and Excel.

Strong communication and analytical skills required.

Experience analyzing detailed information

Willing and Able to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance (Pre-Start) and Final Clearances (Post-Start) 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree preferred

Military Aviation support

Work independently

Work very well with a diverse team of individuals.

Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions related to applicable policies, procedures and guidelines.

Able to prioritize and manage assigned work tasks and functions.

Experience with government MILSTRIP processes a plus.

Current and active DoD Secret Clearance 

Typical Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Security Clearance:

Ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance (Pre-Start) and Final Clearances (Post-Start)

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
