The growing Logistics Program Management (LPM) Team located in Rolling Meadows, IL has a challenging opportunity for aself-starting,multitalented, team oriented technical program leader.

Rolling Meadows Defense Logistics functional areas include DMS, FRACAS, Supportability Engineering, Product Safety, Technical Publications and Training, Government Furnished Equipment tracking, Logistics Systems Engineering, and Logistics Program Management. LPM is the Logistics Integrated Product Team Leader for the above mentioned Functional areas and has overall responsibility to the program for all logistics content (schedule, budget, quality) throughout the period of performance. Specific duties will include:

Primary Logistics interface with PMO, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Contracts, and Mission Assurance on all aspects of the program to ensure all sustainment goals are met

Lead the Logistics and Supportability Engineering (L&SE) portions of pre-proposal and proposal efforts, including specifications, scope of work, and financial requirements of the contract

Responsible for development, production and sustainment planning & execution

Program manage Logistics content and meet EV (cost, schedule) and quality requirements. Direct the work of logistics resources assigned to the program from technical and administrative disciplines

Proactively manage risks and opportunities such as allocation of resources, modification of schedule, or revision of contractual specifications and work with the Functions, PMO and customer on resolution

Proactively identify and respond to customer needs to support Program Growth

Manage and understand program artifacts

Provide customer training, as required by the contract

Prepare Logistics content for PMRs, CDRs and other reviews

This requisition may be filled at either a Professional Band Level 3 or a Professional Band Level 4

Basic Qualifications T3:

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of related logistics/field support experience or Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of related logistics/field support experience

Proven ability to communicate cross-functionally, internally and externally

Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams

Experience managing deliverables to cost, schedule and quality

Ability to drive problem resolution in technical disciplines

Some experience working with product of similar level of complexity and aircraft integration

Ability to understand technical requirements and their impact on logistics elements

U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain Security Clearance – Secret

Must be proficient in using MS Excel

Must be familiar with MS Project

Basic Qualifications T4:

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 9 years of related logistics/field support experience or Master’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of related logistics/field support experience

Familiarity with government contracting requirements and experience with proposal process

Demonstrated presentation skills to senior management to include program status and program reviews for both internal and external customers

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, excellent people skills

Demonstrated program management skills to include conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance/monitoring, and project close

Ability to drive problem resolution in technical disciplines and provide solution recommendations

Experience with supporting designs from logistics perspective that ranged in complexity from spiral software development, new aircraft platform installations, to new hardware and software

Ability to understand technical requirements, their impact on logistics elements, and provide design recommendations

Knowledge of all phases of government contracting requirements and familiar with Northrop Grumman proposal process

U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain Security Clearance – Secret

Must be proficient in using Excel

Must be proficient with MS Project

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience with all 12 ILS elements with emphasis on project management of new hardware and software systems

Prior Navy experience

Experience with the IRCM product line

Experience leading Development programs

Knowledge of government contracting requirements and proposal process
