The U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), has a requirement to procure Performance Based Logistics (PBL) for sustainment, operations and support of Army Program-of-Record (POR) Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS), Live-Fire Ranges, and Instrumentation Systems (ISs) in order to execute the Army's Training Support System (TSS). This opportunity is for a manager of a Parts and Shipping Depot in support of sustainment for over 280,000 Army TADSS at over 500 sites worldwide on the Army TADSS Maintenance Program (ATMP).

This role is responsible for direct oversight of all repair activity at the ATMP depot, as well as overseeing performance of depot personnel as well as ensuring necessary material control practices are in place and enforced.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring material is available when needed for repairs; managing purchasing functions and understanding the purchase requisition to purchase order process as well as how to ensure vendors receive payment; overseeing shipping and receiving functions; overseeing Quality inspection for both incoming material receiving and repair functions; and managing a Customer Service Operations Center (CSOC).

Basic Qualifications

-5-10 years logistics management / leadership experience.

-Experience in supply chain management and shipping and receiving functions

-Solid understanding of government property management and scrap procedures

-Experience managing a large diverse team within a matrix organization.

-Ability to build and manage a strong team.

-Demonstrated personnel management experience

-Demonstrated excellence at written and oral communication.

-.Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
