Logistics Management Analyst




Position is for a Logistics Analyst supporting Military Space and Commercial Space satellite integration within the Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations (ATLO) organization. Role encompasses the coordination, scheduling and execution of flight hardware, mechanical/ electrical ground support equipment, and material movements to support production requirements. The selected candidate is expected to interact on a daily basis with Transportation, Quality, Certified Test Conductors (CTCs), Manufacturing Engineers, Master Production Schedulers, and area management to ensure on-time availability material and equipment. Some travel is expected to support satellite launch campaigns. Candidate will facilitate self-directed work teams, interact with internal customers and peers on a regular basis, and represent the organization on specific projects. Position offers a wide range of responsibilities contributing to multiple programs.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in related discipline or equivalent experience. 3 years of professional experience required.

Experience with satellite flight hardware and ground support equipment logistics processes

Experience with DCMA and DOT transportation and documentation requirements

Ability to obtain a clearance. US citizenship required.

Desired skills

Proficient in handling high-value flight hardware

Knowledge of flight hardware packaging and handling requirements

Familiarity with SAP tools for transportation documentation

Familiarity with satellite integration operating processes

Familiarity with SSC's Enterprise Product Data Management system (EPDM)

Self-starter with ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment

Strong planning, organizational and interpersonal skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Project management experience

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
