The Role As a Life Insurance Consultant, you will work as part of a team on a wide variety of complex projects spanning product development, financial and risk management, financial modeling and software implementation, and mergers and acquisitions for life insurance firms. We are looking for a motivated, independent learner, looking to deliver exceptional performance in the following areas: Clients Deliver high quality and timely work, exceeding our client\u2019s expectations Serve as the day to day project lead, ensuring the project team delivers against established objectives, budget, timeline, deliverables and quality standards Manage client expectations and raise appropriate issues to Client Relationship Managers Development of Intellectual Capital Contribute to the development of new tools and approaches which help our clients improve business performance Key areas of focus will include financial modeling and product development for universal life insurance, including assumption setting Individual and People Development Build relationships and work collaboratively with other associates in the firm Provide mentoring and training to junior staff Keep abreast of industry developments and actively pursue new opportunities outside of your existing areas of technical expertise Financial Support revenue generation for the firm by meeting billable hour expectations and generating new business as part of the broader client relationship management team The Requirements 7 years of experience in a consulting firm, financial services organization or life insurance company ASA is required; FSA credentials are strongly encouraged and a major advantage Experience or general knowledge of individual life and annuity products Experience in at least one core service area: financial modeling, product development, risk management, asset-liability management, actuarial software programming or implementation Proven experience successfully managing multiple projects and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget Demonstrated success or strong evidence to support new business generation Strong interpersonal and team skills with ability to effectively work across locations Well-developed verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical, creative thinking and problem solving skills Enjoy training and mentoring junior staff Working knowledge of MS Excel, Access, Word and Powerpoint Experience with MoSes \/ RAFM and AXIS preferred Experience in SQL and predictive modelling preferred Availability to travel on an as needed basis Any unsolicited resumes\/candidate profiles submitted through our web site or to personal e-mail accounts of employees of Willis Towers Watson are considered property of Willis Towers Watson and are not subject to payment of agency fees.
