Job Description:

Primarily responsible for processing leasing transactions and ownership of lease tracking process, while supporting the marketing/leasing efforts of the Operations team. The position will have multi market exposure. Specific tasks involve aiding in the successful marketing, negotiations, and processing of leasing transactions. The position requires the management of multiple priorities, being aware of and responsive to the demands of a multi-person team, and handling many issues concurrently, which are often time-sensitive and/or confidential. This position will be based out of our Columbia, MD office.

Position Responsibilities

Leasing & Marketing Functions

Provide support to Market Officer and Leasing Teams in processing the entire lease cycle from start to finish.

Coordination with Regional Leasing & Marketing Manager on various job functions, including execution of leasing and marketing initiatives.

Maintain the Market's adherence to the Prologis Brand and other company marketing initiatives.

Prepare/draft essential lease documents including: marketing flyers, lease proposals, lease documents (leases, amendments, license agreements), and listing/co-brokerage agreements.

Creation, coordination and supervision of lease marketing, including marketing signs, flyers, and other branding carried out internally by the leasing team and externally by listing brokers.

Administration of internal processing of leases and entry of deal terms in the company's proprietary Salesforce platform.

Administration of procuring and listing brokerage commission process, including calculation, tracking and distribution of commission payments.

Develop and maintain strong broker relationships throughout the market. Coordinate broker open houses and events with the brokerage community.

Track and compile lease and sale comparables in the market.

Creation of portfolio tour books, stacking plans, and other miscellaneous documents.

Provide write-ups and summaries of the portfolio for external and internal requests utilizing internal systems (Salesforce, PrologisOne, etc.).

Prepare marketing/leasing reports and scan, file and distribute correspondence relating to marketing and leasing portfolios.

Administrative Functions

Regular meetings and communications with Market Officer, Leasing , Property Management and Maintenance Technicians to review workflow and improve procedural efficiencies.

Assist Operations team in various ad-hoc/special events and projects, e.g., broker events, department events, planning/meetings, etc. Some travel may be required.

Work with and support others on the Operations team, including the Operations Analyst, external leasing teams, property management teams, and acquisition, development and disposition teams, to ensure timely and effective workflow.

Provide full administrative support for Market Officer and Leasing.

Other administrative duties such as making travel arrangements, coordinating events, holiday mailings, expense reports, event scheduling, etc.

Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; and related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred marketing experience in the administrative function and related business experience.

Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook. Preferred: Acrobat, Power Point, and Photoshop, with an ability to readily learn internal, corporate computer platforms.

Preferred professional understanding of commercial leases/contracts, and related real estate and legal terms (e.g., base rent, operating expenses, capital expenditures, default, etc.).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Committed to production of timely, high quality, and accurate work.

Ability to support a multi-person team, including work well under pressure, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

Enthusiastic and positive attitude.

Team player and eager to support all members of the Operations team.

Strong initiative and focus on customer service.

Detail orientated with strong organizational skills.

Good deductive reasoning skills.

Ability to interact with co-workers and other divisions in a professional and collegial manner.

Valid driver's license, position requires some travel to portfolio properties.
