Humana is seeking a Learning Policy Consultant/Technical Writer who will be responsible for the following:

Leading efforts with clients and project teams to build and maintain strong partnerships in a matrixed business environment.

Demonstrating effective consulting skills.

Partnering with clients to analyze and identify root causes of the gap and interventions to close the gap.

Identifying opportunities to improve or enhance performance support solutions.

Recommending alternatives when performance support is not the best solution.

Researching and gathering convoluted information and organize it into clear, easy-to-understand process and procedures.

Implementing high-quality performance support solutions that have measurable impacts to the business.

Managing project and client documentation support/maintenance.

Participating in compliance activities related to accreditation and government regulations.

Role Essentials

Bachelor’s Degree

A minimum of 3 years of technical writing experience

Strong MS Office skills

Consulting skills to identify gaps in procedural documentation

Ability to work with Subject Matter Experts in internal support groups to drive business results

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to learn new systems, processes and procedures quickly

Ability to create concise, well-written and easy-to-follow process and procedure documentation

Strong writing and editing skills

Attention to detail

Role Desirables

Master’s Degree

Familiarity with SharePoint

Experience with XMetal Author, Visio, and Adobe PDF Maker

Reporting Relationship

You will report to a Process Manager.
