The LMS Administrator is responsible for managing Lithia’s learning technology systems to create a good user experience and help achieve the goals of growing our people and earning customers for life. Along with our Learning Management System (LMS), you will also be involved with other internal web sites, and external survey and training systems, meeting reporting and project deadlines, as well as managing system development projects.

The LMS Administrator reports to the Learning Supervisor.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

Manage the day-to-day operations and administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) and other Human Development systems, including supporting users and maintaining functionality of systems and content

Develop learning system enhancements that empower employees to develop their skills

Generate reports supporting leaders in understanding trends, measuring impact, and identifying opportunities to improve

Work with department leaders to ensure training development priorities align with reported needs and business goals

Other duties as assigned

Provide a positive experience for both learning system use and user support

Complete essential duties accurately and on time

Plan, track, and evaluate schedules and deadlines to accomplish concurrent tasks and keep projects on track

Meet or exceed individual objectives as defined by supervisor

Excellent time management and organization – demonstrating the ability to prioritize workload and manage one’s own time while keeping projects on track

Critical thinking & problem solving – using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

Flexibility to adapt to quickly changing priorities

Ability to collaborate with other team members and departments to achieve desired outcomes

Aptitude for using and learning software and technology systems

A positive and friendly attitude, which conveys respect and helpfulness to users needing assistance

Professional written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in one or more of the following: learning management systems, system administration, user support, and/or project management

Ability to write and edit HTML code to add and edit web pages and widgets

Experience in an automotive or Human/Organizational Development related position

Lithia Hiring Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.

18 years or older

Possess an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license in state of residence

A criminal history backgroundcheck will be conducted prior to beginning employment
