We are seeking a Process Analyst to support Global IT Infrastructure Services (GITIS), Lean CVQ team. This role involves instructing others in continuous improvement tools and principles. You will lead and facilitate complex IT process improvement efforts using Lean tools (such as Value Stream Mapping -VSM, kaizens, Design Thinking, Six Sigma, etc.). You will coach teams on process improvement methodology and help share a lean culture.

This is a Level 3 position located in either Bellevue, WA, North Charleston, SC, or St. Louis, MO.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to identify organizational problems and opportunities, and find ways to solve them utilizing the Boeing Problem Solving model and Lean tools. The ideal candidate will have previous experience leading process improvement activities using Lean tools, engaging teams on problem definitions, coaching them through implementation and resolution. Should also have experience with Microsoft office tools, project management best practices, have the ability to effectively facilitate meetings, be able to manage business processes, and have organizational skills.

Primary Responsibilities

will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Identifies risks and opportunities for improvement.

Creates enhancements to existing improvement tools.

Supports the development and deployment of new tools.

Defines, deploys, evaluates and supports common computing standards, IT processes, tools and process/performance metrics.

Participates in defining plans to support common standards and processes.

Identifies qualitative and quantitative improvement measures.

Advises on the selection of key parameters and standards to monitor progress.

Provides education and promotes use of Boeing IT common processes, methodologies, products and services.

Guides processes development for software development and maintenance.

Participates in the review and evaluation of new technology for impact on process improvement strategies.

Typical Education / Experience

Technical bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

More than 3 years of work experience using LEAN principles

Certified Leader in at least one of the Lean Advanced Tools (AIW, VSM, AMW, 3P, Distribution, 10X, Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Instructor, etc.)

Experience teaching Lean tools and concepts

Experience leading or facilitating meetings with technical and program management staff.

Preferred Qualifications

ITIL v3 Certified or experience with IT Service Management

Experience using project management tools, including developing project plans, managing issues, and managing risks.

Experience with project management best practices.

Experience with SharePoint and InfoPath.

Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
