Position Description
The Leadership Development Consultant/Facilitator is responsible to manage and deliver classroom instructor-led training and other programs to increase managerial effectiveness. They will facilitate meaningful classroom experiences including content, examples, and inspiration to apply new skills on the job.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field
Three (3) years or more experience in a training facilitator role, both face-to-face and virtual; responsible for improving management skills.in a formal offering for front-line and mid-level leaders
Three (3) years or more internal consulting and curriculum design experience
Excellent verbal communication, teaching and facilitation skills
Experience with group dynamics and managing classroom interactions
Excellent organizational skills
Proficient in using MS Office applications, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Project, Visio, and Access (advanced level)

Responsibilities

Deliver manager leadership development curriculum\u2014classroom and virtual. Facilitate leadership programs using appropriate techniques to engage audience, solicit participation, and enhance learning. Provide instruction on relevant topics brought up in discussions and manage discussions to maintain a positive environment
Develop management training pre-class communications to participants and managers, pre & post assignments, and classroom exercises
Design processes to measure program effectiveness, participant learning, and organizational impact; report quarterly to Talent Management Leadership team
Act as a role model and function as a subject matter expert on all Ryder leadership competencies. Ability to find solutions for core problems through detailed analysis, research and benchmarking; make recommendations to Talent Management Leadership team
Support the selection and/or development of leadership curriculum
Build manager reinforcement activities and facilitate participant\u2019s application of new skills on the job
Performs other duties as assigned
