Job Title : Lead Compliance Specialist (I-9) Job ID : 785485BR Location : RI - Lincoln Street Address : 695 George Washington Hwy Category : Human Resources Description : Job Description As the Human Resources Lead Compliance Specialist (I-9), you will work as part of a centralized team responsible for leading enterprise on-boarding activities, including I-9 compliance, eVerify submission, and employment work authorization. In this role you will partner internally with Talent Acquisition, Legal, HR and Compliance to ensure that processing of I-9’s is completed and in compliance with regulatory and company standards and you will provideconsultation to key internal partners to reinforce compliant practices. In this role you will be responsible for: · Complete daily I-9 processing activities with accuracy and efficiency including compliance review for required documentation, document upload, submission to eVerify and handling of all resulting alerts through resolution · Leading post-hire monitoring of work authorization status and collaborate with legal, hiring leaders and colleagues to resolve complex I-9 and immigration work authorizations insuring the appropriate documentation is maintained at alltimes. · Plan and execute special projects related to acquisitions, audits and business process improvement initiatives. - As the Human resources Lead Compliance Specialist (I-9), your success will be determined by your ability to operate in a dynamic, high volume, deadline driven environment while maintaining strict compliance and documentationstandards at all times. You will be empowered to identify areas of opportunity and then plan and implement solutions to streamline process and/or to address business challenges. The on-boarding compliance team handles a large volume of activity, therefore data reporting and analysis skills will bekey to your success Required Qualifications 3 or more years of experience in Talent Acquisition Operations and/or Talent Acquisition administration mso-ascii-theme-font:minor-latin;mso-hansi-theme-font:minor-latin;mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma\> mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt;mso-bidi-font-family:Times New Roman\> Preferred QualificationsProven ability to perform well and with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines. Ability to prioritize and manage projects utilizing standard project management methodologies. Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible Project oversight and operations experience focusing on Human Resources Human and Talent Acquisition compliance. Excellent client service skills. Excellent PC skills, including extensive knowledge of spreadsheet and database software. Excellent analytical skills, communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as a team player Will act as the subject matter expert (SME) for all I-9 compliance issues and projects, this includes communicating relevant information cross functionally to all levels of management throughout the organization as required. Comprehensive knowledge of HR processes and administration; including an in depth knowledge of base Talent Acquisition and practices. Experience overseeing complex cross functional projects with minimal oversight. Review of Special state legal requirements as it pertains to background Adjudication and I-9 verification. Knowledge of basic employment law preferred. Monitor and review of current workforce as it pertains to ongoing compliance monitoring as needed. Education High school diploma/GED required. Bachelors degree preferred.
