This position participates in business analysis, needs analysis, business risk assessment and collaborates with business and IT partners to shape requirements and determine the correct sources of data across JnJ’s Manufacturing and Deliver system’s landscape. This position has a project focus, supporting the execution of strategic initiatives, enabling the leveraging of data worldwide. This includes data governance activities utilizing strong cross sector partnerships, Global Services (IT), and internal business stakeholders. This position contributes to data design and sourcing decisions which support an application’s data requirements. The position is also responsible for providing analysis and assistance to J&J franchise data stewards with their data cleansing, data profiling, data collection and data harmonization projects in support of major strategic initiatives.Responsibilities• Participates in cross-franchise/cross-region projects to execute on strategic goals of SCDM with regards to data.• Supports execution of project plans when appropriate against established data standards, operating model and tool usage.• Supports the following:• Data collection and analysis• Data harmonization• Data cleansing and data profiling activities• Takes accountability to meet assigned milestones and deliverables of plan ensuring all compliance activities are met• Participates in implementation of project related activities and ensures appropriate documentation including meta data.• Understands and communicates downstream impacts of data changes to multiple systems• Identifies and recommends selection and filtering of data to support project’s data requirements.• Works with IT partners on data designs.• Leads business analysis, needs analysis and business risk assessments for assigned projects.• Collaborates with business partners to determine how to best support their business data requirements.• Manage relationships with partners who may be in IT or the Business by representing and promoting SCDM capabilities.• Documents business requirements in a way that effectively captures the business needs and conveys that information accurately and understandably to technical team.• Effectively probes and questions to draw out all business needs.• Develops, analyzes process and data flows, identifying potential redundancies and overlaps in accountability and key decision points and reports findings to senior levels.• Efficiently communicates within business partner and IT organizations and facilitates resolution of business partner issues. Communicates in business and technical terms with equal effectiveness.• Participates in the development of RFIs, RFPs, and project plans.• Assists in developing a business case and participates in ROI and other financial analyses.• Recommends process and system changes for productivity/efficiency improvements.• Analyzes global impact of product data (e.g. clash codes) in the event of acquisitions.• Supports the team mailbox and appropriately actions the requests for creation and change of material master data on Back to Basics SAP.• Supports the reviews of End to End Data Quality Reports and researches data field discrepancies across ERP systems.• Partners with Regional Operations Teams, Data Stewards and Franchises to address and resolve discrepancies with Product Master Data.• Drives error analysis to uncover root cause and recommends processes to ensure errors do not reoccur.• Ensures SOPs and WIs are reviewed annually and new SOP’s/WI’s are created as necessary.• Mentors and assists Co-Ops and Temporary/Summer Interns.• Develops requirements for and tests Data Quality reports as required to support governance of common data across JnJ application landscape.• Perform other related duties as required.','!*!• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.• A minimum of 6 years of business experience in master data, supply chain, operations, or cross-functional business environment is required.• Strong technical knowledge and aptitude to apply visualization and analytical toolset across a variety of datasets is required. • Experience with SQL, Tableau and related technical skills is required.• Experience with Office Suite— Advanced Excel skills, PowerPoint, Word, is required.• End to end knowledge of Supply Chain business processes is preferred.• Understanding of SAP, JDE or Informatica’s Material/Customer master data is preferred.• Strong interdependent partnering skills, interpersonal communication, and influencing skills is required.• Cross-functional/cross-company working experience is preferred.• Analytical skills, problem solving using data facts is required.• Communication and presentation experience to peers and management is required.• Ability to influence and drive changes to business processes/systems is preferred.• Test script writing experience is preferred.• Travel up to 10% both domestically and internationally is required.','North America-United States-New Jersey-Piscataway','','Johnson & Johnson Services Inc.
