Accurately reads and interprets specifications; performs appropriate physical tests on productsand materials. Operates laboratory equipment or performs procedures for viscosity, flow, cure, hardness, density or other physical tests. Records data on manual or computerized systems.Interprets test results with regard to product or customer specifications. Informs management regarding non-conforming material or products. Applies all laboratorysafety procedures. Participates in 5 S activities. Complies with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements at all times. Performs other tasks as assigned.

High school degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Chemistry degree desired.Must have at least one year of laboratory experience
Functional and Technical Skills
Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English. Must be able to effectively operate electronic , mechanical or manual laboratoryequipment requiring precise adjustment of controls for valid results. Must be able to perform complex level of mathematical operations. Must be able to operate a personal computer and perform accurate data entry operations. Must be able to wear required PPE with or without reasonable accommodation.
