Requirements

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Provide direct nursing care to clients under minimal personal and procedural clinical supervision

Discuss patients' status, problems and needs with family members, and educate family members similarly about patients' illnesses, treatment and care.

Confer regularly with case manager and other clinical staff (nurses, physical/occupational/speech therapists, etc.) involved with cases to discuss changes in patient status and care plan

Current Vermont Licensed Nursing Assistant license

Previous experience in nursing home or similar facility preferred

Knowledge of physical, emotional, developmental needs of the clients we serve in our Adult Day Programs

Communicate and interact effectively with individuals and groups both client facing and internally
