LPN - 5th Orthopedics - PRN - 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

The DDC Licensed Practical Nurse/Technician is a member of the DDC health care team. He/she is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of the patients undergoing procedures in the DDC. This is done in conjunction with the objectives and policies of the hospital and the Nurse Practise Act of the State. He/she is responsible for assisting the MD with procedures, helping to maintain optimal patient condition during procedures, setting up equipment for procedures and preparing scopes and instruments for use during and after procedures. The DDC Licensed Practical Nurse/Technician is responsible to the DDC Registered Nurse, the DDC Clinical Supervisor, Director of DDC/Medical Outpatient, Nursing Supervisor, Associate Directors and the Chief Nursing Officer.

Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Requirements:

Must live within 30 minutes of the facility due to call

Certifications / Licenses:

Current state Nurse license

Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification

The acquisition includes subsidiary Quorum Health Resources, LLC (QHR), a hospital management and consulting company with approximately 150 independent community hospital clients. January 2014: Community Health Systems, Inc. completes the acquisition of Health Management Associates, Inc., adding approximately 70 hospitals to the organization.
