Jr. Project Manager

Our client in San fransisco is looking to hire a Jr Project Manager

Provide support to the Real Estate team to ensure that our projects progress on schedule and within budget.

Perform administrative duties including but not limited to: scheduling meetings, processing documentation, establishing and maintaining a consistent and organized filing system for project documentation, etc.

Actively manage and track all project documentation including contracts, budgets and schedules

Assist with preparation of project management reports

Prepare internal meeting minutes

Review, verify, reconcile and process invoices and change orders

Develop relationships and work closely with external vendors and consultants and internal cross-functional teams

Maintain best practices templates (Project post mortems/lessons learned docs)

Manage punch lists and assist with management of projects of varying size and scope

Demonstrate proficiency and attention to detail in the use and application of all project management technology as required for assigned projects

Assist in reporting to senior staff and local office users as necessary

Responsible for creation of regular internal comms with updates of the latest events, happenings, projects, etc within the RE Projects team

3 years related experience in a design, architecture, or construction project management environment.

Budgeting/cost tracking experience, or previous real estate support roles for project managers, preferred

Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution. Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Business preferred

Experience using project related programs (preferred): AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Word and Excel, Google Apps, and ability to quickly learn new types of programs.

Knowledge of construction or commercial real estate industry

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive level internal and external clients

The ability to review and interpret both legal and financial contract documents.

The ability to read construction drawings and specifications. Understanding and interpretation of building and Title-24 codes is a plus

Ability to prioritize and manage differing needs of the business

Desire to manage projects of varying level of complexity
