The International Personal Bank (IPB) U.S. is part of North America Retail business and provides offshore wealth management (brokerage and banking products and services), operating from offices both in the U.S. (including Puerto Rico) and outside the U.S. (Uruguay, Colombia, and Chile).
The IPB US Financial Planning & Analysis (IPB US FP&A) team supplies Senior Management with analysis and insight into financial results for IPB US. Through this analysis, the team facilitates decision making at the senior levels to drive performance. The team manages the annual budget, CCAR, and forecasts, to drive the long term performance of the company. FP&A provides the planning and analytics for the IPB US managed segment and specialties including investment initiatives and re-engineering programs.
Critical advisor and partner to IPB US Senior business managers, supporting financial and strategic issues regarding expenses.
Design key performance indicators and metrics that facilitate transparency and measure the effectiveness of the business; partnering with IPB US senior product management.
Lead all forward looking expenses for IPB US.
Lead and coordinate all expense work streams with Mumbai and Costa Rica centers
Perform analysis for new business initiatives, working closely with the business areas and product groups, and support project launch and execution.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Master’s in Business Administration, Finance or related field preferred.
5 years in Finance related roles with a combination of accounting/control and planning/analysis experience required.
Familiarity with the wealth management industry is desirable but not essential
Background in the following is a plus:
Citi's organization and systems framework
Reporting and analysis
Proficient in MS Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong analytical/data analysis skills and detail oriented.
Must be able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, perform well under pressure, and meet strict deadlines demonstrating independent leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills to drive engagement and close interactions with key stakeholders.
Strong organization, process, and reporting skills.
Ability to interact with all levels of internal customers and senior management.
Problem solving skills with the ability to identify and implement data and process improvements.
Consistently produce high quality work, fine-tuned to the audience.
Self-starter and quick learner.
Team oriented/team player.
