WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
We have a variety of internship opportunities available within our Supply Chain organization. Within our Procurement
area, you will gain visibility into Direct Procurement, Indirect Procurement, Procurement Operations and Knowledge Center. Examples of responsibilities include: Supporting a strategic sourcing event/Request for Proposal (RFP)
Category strategy development
Supply market analysis
Month-end reporting of key procurement metrics
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Supply Chain, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
Required: Student must be currently enrolled at an accredited college/university
Senior or Junior status in the coming school year
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Effective communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Ability to work on a team as well as the ability to work autonomously
Demonstrated ability to manage complexity
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities
Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Preferred: Supply Chain Management, Operations Management and Agricultural Business majors are highly preferred, but other related majors may also be acceptable
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
This position requires a 12 week commitment starting May 14, 2018.
