Financial Planning Overview

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) department is responsible for overseeing United's budget and forecast, long-term business plan, capital plan and financial analysis. FP&A acts as a challenging business partner, working closely with each organization at United to provide financial and strategic support.

Job Description

The coordinator role within Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as high attention to detail.

Primary responsibilities include the following (but are not limited to):

Supporting development and coordination of FP&A Training Calendar

Supporting development and coordination of Summer Intern Programming

Support FP&A Recruiting efforts that include coordinating staffing for on-campus and in-office events, and maintaining accurate and current recruiting data

Supporting FP&A-wide All Staff Meetings

May include support of the FP&A India Center of Excellence

Build and maintain excellent working relationships with co-workers inside and outside of FP&A

Schedule training sessions, coordinating with trainers, assisting in training material preparation and evaluating post-training survey results

Maintain interview materials and track interviewee data

Job Requirements

Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational and time-management skills and ability to multi-task

Ability to work independently and also following up on necessary items

Experience within Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)

Ability to handle simultaneous projects and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment

Solid interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork

Must be a current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in a related field, demonstrating strong academic performance

Reliable, punctual attendance is as essential function of the positionApplicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship or future sponsorship for a full/part time position
