Position Summary

The JetBlue Emerging Talent (JET) internship program provides skill & professional development through participation in the developing real-world business solutions that support the delivery of strategic business initiatives. Throughout the program, interns participate in a robust programming including professional development activities, cross-functional projects, senior leader exposure, networking, and community service. The JET Program provides interns the opportunity to immerse themselves into the aviation industry while developing specific career interest or areas of study.

initiatives are aligned with current strategy and help position the company for the next phase of its evolution.

Essential Responsibilities

Support enterprise-wide strategic planning

Track industry and competitive trends as a baseline for strategic decision-making, constantly remaining forward-thinking about opportunities and risks in the marketplace

Identify and analyze potential future growth opportunities for JetBlue, collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

d in or a recent graduate of a B

achelor's degree program in a business or finance-related field

Strong presentation skills including the ability to convey complex subject matter to an executive audience in clear, concise, and compelling manner

Strong experience using analytical tools

, dashboards,

and processes to explore business problems and develop solutions including data modeling, decision analysis, and benchmarking

Solid critical thinking and problem solving skills

Ability to synthesize information, generate compelling insights, and formulate recommendations to senior leadership

Ability to quickly grasp diverse subject matter representing various units across the entire business

Ability to work independently and think creatively

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Position is based in Long Island City, NY (LSC)

Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test

Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

Currently enrolled

in a


program in business,


, or a

related field

Two (2) years management consulting experience·

Knowledge of airline industry

Ability to prioritize assignments and manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment

Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively

Advanced skills preparing financial models

and management dashboards

in Excel

Project management, program management, and organizational skills

Familiarity with Workfront, MS Project, or similar platforms

Crewmember Expectations:

Regular attendance and punctuality

Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice


and able to maintain a professional appearance

When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
