Position Summary
Supervise, direct, and coordinate work of maintenance employees. Provide leadership and guidance in the areas of safety, quality and execution of work and goals.  Schedule and plan work as well as monitor employees' performance and direct outside contractor work as required to maintain the Plant\u2019s reliable performance.
Job Responsibilities
Employees Safety.  Direct, plan and assign work assignments to bargaining unit employees on a daily basis.  Regulate work flow; accommodate priority items to ensure Plant equipment is operating at peak performance.  Troubleshot and resolve problems resulting from daily operation of Plant equipment coordinating with other departments to avoid excessive downtime and expedite work in progress.  Support Instrument and Electrical employees with the various control systems and electrical circuits.  Support assigned projects as required.  Enforce all Plant safety policies and attend safety meetings along with maintenance employees.  Handle all personnel problems and concerns as necessary.  Maintain maintenance department paperwork, records, and reports completely and accurately.
Strong leadership and communication skills.   Should be familiar with control systems, (programming, troubleshooting, etc.) and field devices (transducers, transmitters, etc) with an extensive knowledge of NFPA and Delta V controls.  Arc Flash training and ISO knowledge desired.  Must be able to design and interpret electrical drawings.  Must be proficient at writing documents and project specifications.  Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
