Conducts technical training courses for customers and/or employees in the use of complex situations for multiple products.
Interacts with customer and functional organizations to develop specifications for course content.
Prepares lesson plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements or software documentation.
Works with engineering, technical support and manufacturing to ensure that course material reflects current product features.
Instructs participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions.
Follows up to determine applicability of course material and need for continued learning.
Equipped with a deepening knowledge of the company, tools and processes, he/she is able to communicate successfully through a training environment.
Builds productive internal and external working relationships to understand evolving needs and improve training materials.
Learns, adjusts, facilitates and creates new training materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Two (2) years' experience with adult learning, instructional design, professional development, curriculum development, or performance improvement
Proficient with SharePoint
Experience creating learning to be used via distance learning/virtual training format
Agile and flexible to contribute to multiple project types simultaneously
Knowledge of web casts, interactive videoconferencing, and virtual classroom environment deliver over the internet/intranet
Knowledge of Instructional Design concepts and fundamentals
Experience working in learning development tools, such as Articulate Studio or Storyline
Experience creating learning to be used in an asynchronous format through a Learning Management System (LMS)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Capable of working independently and with a team
