Family Description:

Works within a team to install and seal roof attachments, equipment racking supports and solar panels. Performs construction tasks per manufacturer's installation guidelines. Responsible for electrical wiring of solar arrays/systems (AC and DC) in addition to installing raceways around residential applications including roofs, attics and walls. Reviews job installation plans with Crew Leads and Construction Managers. May assist in tracking inventory as well as test, repair and service technical equipment.

Requires minimal supervision unless problems arise or as departmental goals and/ or tasks change.

Displays initiative and judgment in arranging job activities to achieve objectives.

Proactively advises and updates group regarding data analysis and reporting status.

Prepares complex reports and maintains complicated records requiring careful selection, classification or compilation of information from several sources.

Ability to train others in usage of data and software systems as needed. Complexity:

Works on complex issues/ projects.

Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Teamwork, Collaboration and Influence:

Anticipates and avoids misunderstanding by adapting communication to intended audience.

Finds common ground and solves problems, incorporating a diversity of views.

Actively provides feedback to enhance work group performance.

Effectively participates in meetings, focusing on constructive solutions while maintaining positive working relationships.

Acts as a resource to colleagues. Initiative:

Determines methods and procedures for new assignments with minimal guidance.

Mentors others and coordinates technical projects.

Notifies management on significant issues in area of expertise.

Demonstrates initiative by actively advising and updating management and colleagues on new technology or business practices. Impact and Results Focus:

Occasionally introduces and implements new ideas and/or processes to improve product, infrastructure and team efficiency.

Relied upon by colleagues for project input and review.

Prepares detailed reports and maintains complicated records requiring careful selection, compilation and analysis of information from various sources. Minimum Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
