Supports the creation of specifications for processes and/ or systems to meet business requirements. May act as a liaison between Operations and the Product Regulatory Compliance Department for the development and implementation of new processes and/or systems. May be responsible for the admininstration of the product audit program and oversees audits conducted on each hazmat shipment. May develop content, methods, and materials for training and conducts courses. Supports development of methods for evaluation of program effectiveness. Supports and assists in the development and delivery of programs, such as; ongoing certification training to DG Employees, covering global DG shipping regulations. Ensures that established quality control procedures are followed. Supports and may lead audits conducted on each hazmat shipment; includes compliance to each package and associated paperwork prior to the package being staged for shipping. Supports the oversight of compliance to 49CFR, IATA, IMDG, Aviall-specific and any other requirements were met when packaging the product. Identify and report processes inconsistencies relative to compliance by all modes of transportation. Assists in the design of, and may lead, development efforts for Dangerous Goods training program and provide ongoing certification training to DG Employees, covering global DG shipping regulations. Supports managers and supervisors by coordinating and /.or providing additional training on regulatory changes and production quality. Utilizes technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and participating in the development of systems and procedures that are compliant to 49CFR, IATA, IMDG, Aviall-specific and any other requirements were met when packaging the product. Determines compliance risks by checking audits; at a minimum, shipping packaging, software utilization and shipping processes and procedures. Ensures maintenance of records capturing the detail of each package inspected for packaging, paperwork, and sealing. Identify errors, the reporting flow for the error(s), and when the re-inspection was done. May provide consultation and guidance to users in Product Regulatory Compliance. May lead or direct the work of others, and provide training and/or guidance to less experienced team members. Completes special projects and other duties as assigned. Job RequirementsEducation Requirement:Bachelor's Degree in related field.
