As an Inside Sales Representative,
you will be responsible for the acquisition of new customer sales through outbound calls.
Manage outbound calls to prospective customers (lost customers and new).
Communicate appropriate value proposition based on customer’s segment; adjust as prospective customer provides new information regarding buying needs.
Solicit requests for quotes.
Use pricing tools (e.g., list price configurator) to determine appropriate pricing for new sales.
Maximize pocket margin.
For under-performing accounts, execute re-pricing action where possible, substitute with higher pocket margin specification or otherwise, re-price to achieve target pocket margin.
Interface with Tactical Marketing Dir to determine lost and new customer opportunities (e.g., customer segment, value propositions).
Performs other duties as assigned.
Associates Degree Preferred.
Manufacturing Sales experience.
5 years in Sales or Sales Administration, Marketing or Business.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Must have product line knowledge.
Sales and manufacturing experience required.
Good communications skills.
Must be able to work with many different departments within the organization.
Excellent customer relations and sales ability.
Less than 5%.
