Description As a member of Cigna s ETS Automaton Services team, you will be a technical leader who enables your fellow team members to build and manage automated capabilities that will connect CIGNA s employees with their technology. Our focus is to enable, equip and collaboratively develop automated solutions for the wider Enterprise Technology Support (ETS) team.

The Infrastructure Automation Manager will design, engineer, develop and support automated capabilities that support CIGNA's enterprise technologies, including, but not limited to, VOIP, platform (OS, hypervisor, and compute), network technologies (Cisco, BigIP, etc), database (oracle and SQL), and storage (NAS, SAN, etc).

Additionally, the Infrastructure Automation Manager will provide technical leadership on large programs and lead projects with automation and self service tooling requirements. Candidate will work within a large matrixed organization and interact with personnel from other departments (e. g., Data Networks, Voice Networks, Contact Center, CIGNA Information Protection, Platform Support, etc.) in the implementation of cross-departmental initiatives (e. g., voice/data convergence, hardware centralization). In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be asked to help define requirements and development patterns for the automation community at Cigna.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Engineering, developing and maintaining a framework of technologies to host microservices used in supporting Cigna's enterprise infrastructure

Develop specific microservices as defined by business requirements which will run on the above mentioned framework

Work in Agile teams leveraging Scrum, Kanban or SAFe methodologies

Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS

Formal Education & Certification

Four-year university degree or college diploma in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems preferred, or the equivalent work experience and education.

Knowledge & Experience Minimum of 6 years of experience designing, engineering and developing automated systems and solutions using products such as Spectrum, Network Node Manager, NetCool, SolarWinds

Proficient with Scripting and programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Ruby, GoLang, NodeJS, etc

Experience with engineering resilient systems including front end, persistent storage and API layers

Experience with one or more of the following desired: Splunk, ELK, Microservices, Automated Testing, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Gitlab, GitlabCI, Rally

Experience in customer service and/or operations

Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication abilities
