Industrial Engineer Fall Co-Op','264746','!*!Job Description:

All engineering Interns will actively participate and lead projects within the operations department.  Gain hands-on experience working with full time engineers and individual projects in process improvement, manufacturing cell layout, fixture design, and lean manufacturing.  The projects will provide exposure and experience working with design engineering, supply chain, and production departments.  Many projects will involve lean training and Kaizen events, creating project capital plans, process data analysis, creating process control plans and seeking opportunities to remove waste or excess from current processes.

Operations Management','!*!QUALIFICATIONS:

Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in Engineering

Excellent communication skills (oral & written)

Ability to work independently, learn new tasks/handle multiple tasks, solve problems, meet deadlines, and show strong self-motivation and initiative 

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

3.0 GPA or higher

Excellent interpersonal skills
