The IT Senior Manager, Program Manager - Product Lifecycle Management will be a leader working within the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Product Line, with the R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain organizations to drive PLM and R&D projects to meet business strategies, processes and needs, and partner with Technology Services (TS) to ensure timely delivery, all while ensuring that projects stay within budget and scope is properly managed. The IT Senior Manager, Program Manager - Product Lifecycle Management will: Deliver PLM and R&D solutions to internal customers across many functions, managing expectations while making quick decisions and delivering solutions at the forefront of technology within the ever-changing digital landscape. Under the leadership of the Director PLM PLO, creatively think about increasing effectiveness of this product line and embedding agile practices into the organization. Work with business partners, BUIT peers, and TS, following an Agile methodology and incorporating this methodology in overall Project Management. Drive proper project management methodology to manage scope, risks, issues, budgets, resources and quality of product. Implement governance processes to evaluate project changes and additional demand. Manage actuals against both project and fiscal budgets. Ensure dependencies across various workstreams are accounted for and continually evaluated. Streamline process to gather and report workstream and project status. Develop escalation process for risks, issues, and scope changes. Provide coaching and mentorship to other team members in PM roles. Ensure projects adhere to the IT methodologies and processes, and that required services are leveraged. Understand the PLM and R&D environment of processes and applications/systems.
Apply compliance requirements within scope of responsibility; provides documentation and participates in compliance activities as required

Adhere to quality system and environmental policies, procedures, and supports department compliance objectives. Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; A Bachelor's in the field of computer science or business administration is preferred. A minimum of eight (8) years of related experience is required with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a PM in a life sciences/healthcare organization is required. Program and Project Management experience is required. Knowledge of enterprise architecture and application development methodologies is required. The ability to quickly learn the business and complex processes, and the ability to understand and work across multiple business domains in support of project are required. Strong communication and critical thinking skills are required. The ability to work alone with minimal supervision and successfully deliver solutions to our business partner and the ability to keep the business interests in mind are required. Strong business insight and the ability to identify technical solutions to business problems or needs are required. Previous experience in an Agile environment and familiarity with software development methodologies is required. The ability to partner with development teams that support various technology platforms and proven relationship management skills are required. People management experience is preferred. Technology leadership experience, R&D Product Development experience, Product Lifecycle Management process and technology experience are preferred. This position may require up to 25% travel.
