This is a hybrid role that focuses on network support but offers additional opportunities to work with all other components of IT Infrastructure. You’ll be a first responder focused on keeping our network, servers, operating systems, and applications running smoothly. You’ll play a central role in the health and stability of our infrastructure; this will include troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and coordinating efforts to resolve issues with our support and engineering teams as well as vendors.\rResponsibilities: \r\rMaintain the integrity and availability of the voice and data networks\rRespond to and resolve critical network, hardware, software, and application alerts.\rMonitor circuit outages, degradation and hardware failures and utilize various tools to isolate impairments in LAN/WAN network environments\rTroubleshoot TCP/IP network connectivity across MPLS, VPN, and point-to-point WAN facilities\rReport and escalate outages to the appropriate vendors and initiate backup procedures during network outages.\rInstall and test communication equipment and perform communication fault isolation and diagnosis as required.\rSupport disaster recovery testing for regions/clients and test backup circuits weekly.\rThey will also review projects completed by Network Engineering and maintain network management tools.\rProvide Incident, Problem, and Change Management support, as well as escalation/notification to management and provide 1st level Network Security monitoring and incident tracking.\rCommunicate directly with technology teams and business users regarding technology issues, outages, and downtime during planned maintenance.\rCoordinate and communicate with external vendors and partners for support.\rUpdate and add documentation for support procedures and system information.\rActively seek and implement ways to improve the team’s processes, technical knowledge and relationships with other technology and business partners.\r\rWe strive for every interaction to be driven by our CORE values: Insightful Expertise, Integrity is Everything, Service Excellence, Inspiring Innovation, Each Person Counts, Results-Driven, & Social Responsibility. \rQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: \r\r\r\rBS/BA — Business or technical degree, with an emphasis on business or equivalent IT experience is required\rCisco CCNA Certification preferred\rDemonstrated understanding of network communication, current server technology and hardware\rWorking knowledge of routers, switches, firewall, and CTI components\rDemonstrated understanding of Voice/Telephony networks\rExperience with troubleshooting hardware components\rDemonstrated experience, or knowledge, with general IT topics client/server, OS, Database, networking, security, and automation\rExperience using other synthetic and real-time monitoring tools (agent-based and agentless)\rExperience with ITIL framework including but not limited to certification\rExperience with Agile implementation methodologies\rKnowledge and experience administrating and troubleshooting Windows & Linux servers a plus\rAbility to simplify complicated technology\rAbility to perform and communicate well in high-pressure situations\rFlexibility to work any shift or day of the week, including holidays\rDemonstrates the ability to work under pressure\rEstablish and maintain excellent business relationships\rMust be Service and Client Driven\rMust be comfortable dealing with all levels of management\rGood technical understanding of all Hosted platforms\rMust be assertive in order to represent clients best interest at all times\rManage regional/group relationships across all business units\r\r\r\r\rPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following: \r\rBS/BA — Business or technical degree, with an emphasis on business or equivalent IT experience is required\rCisco CCNA Certification preferred\rDemonstrated understanding of network communication, current server technology and hardware\rWorking knowledge of routers, switches, firewall, and CTI components\rDemonstrated understanding of Voice/Telephony networks\rExperience with troubleshooting hardware components\rDemonstrated experience, or knowledge, with general IT topics client/server, OS, Database, networking, security, and automation\rExperience using other synthetic and real-time monitoring tools (agent-based and agentless)\rExperience with ITIL framework including but not limited to certification\rExperience with Agile implementation methodologies\rKnowledge and experience administrating and troubleshooting Windows & Linux servers a plus\rAbility to simplify complicated technology\rAbility to perform and communicate well in high-pressure situations\rFlexibility to work any shift or day of the week, including holidays\rDemonstrates the ability to work under pressure\rEstablish and maintain excellent business relationships\rMust be Service and Client Driven\rMust be comfortable dealing with all levels of management\rGood technical understanding of all Hosted platforms\rMust be assertive in order to represent clients best interest at all times\rManage regional/group relationships across all business units\r\r\rSoftware in the Cloud.
