IT Business Analyst, Distribution and Customer BillingJob DescriptionSUMMARY OF POSITION:The IT Application Solutions (ITAS) organization is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a role on the Global Distribution & Customer Billing team.  This team delivers business value via projects and enhancement related to distribution (order fulfillment), product availability/sourcing/allocation, and customer billing of sales orders.  This position will focus on North American processes, but will have global exposure and collaboration within and across teams.The role is viewed as an expert in complex application environments, encompassing both business process understanding and technical expertise. Recognized subject matter expert. Delivers functional leadership and is able to mentor others in the organization. May provide work direction / general guidance to other team members.Performs leading-edge work and develops new approaches/solutions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Leads and delivers the analysis, design, configuration, customization, testing, and deployment for application solutions supporting the North American processes of distribution, product availability/sourcing/allocation, and customer billing/invoicing.   Functional leader of medium to large projects using Agile methodologies Accountabilities across multiple functional and technical areas with wide range of complexity. Proactive  analysis of business processes and identification of innovative ways to address near term business needs which includes identifying these opportunities, reviewing and obtaining a disposition decision from the appropriate business client, assessing the fit of these opportunities into current initiatives, or including the opportunity in future demand Works directly with Business resources to establish requirements for the implementation of changes in the business process, ensuring proper integration with upstream and downstream processes. Maintains in-depth understanding of both Consumer and KCP business sector processes, with global consideration. Influences policy formation; contributes to User Groups; significant contribution to strategic direction Leads Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives; consults and shares knowledge across org; full awareness of industry trendsREQUIREMENTS:Education:Bachelor's degreeExperience:7 years of experience in Information Technology including working directly with business clientsExperience with SAP SD, LE, SCM modules, focus on Order-To-Cash (OTC) business processes.  Experience in Global Available to Promise (gATP) highly preferred.Managing ITS Projects and/or ProgramsAgile methodologies and best practicesHeld prior accountabilities that required influencing outside of administrative authorityStrong leadership skills with experience managing people in offsite and remote locationsPreferred:Cultivates networking opportunities with peer organizations and capability teamsBroad range of business and IT experiences including experience with Distribution, E-Commerce, Customer Billing, Product Allocation technologies.Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.Excellent verbal and written fluency in English is mandatoryKnowledge of SAP SCM Global Available To Promise (gATP)Knowledge of ABAP concepts and ability to debug.Experience with smart forms and output determinationExperience with SAP Idoc processingExperience in systems to support parcel shipping and e-Commerce.Experience with SAP Background job process and event triggers.ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:Role will report to the Manager of Distribution and Customer Billing in the IT Application Solutions organization.  Role will not have any direct reports.Key Interfaces: Business PartnerSolution ArchitectProject ManagerEnterprise ArchitectBusiness ClientExternal Interfaces: Consultant3rd Party providerKimberly-Clark and its well-known global brands are an indispensable part of life for people in more than 175 countries.
