Job Summary

Collaborates on and supports activities related to researching and analyzing financial information and developing strategic communications regarding Company performance and strategy.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Assist in planning, preparation and dissemination of corporate financial and organizational information to internal and external company stakeholders, including but not limited to:

Written reports

Website/webcast information

Formal and informal presentations

Financial news releases

Financial analysis

Company fact sheets


Compile and analyze data related to financial performance, stock transactions, industry trends, peer company financial performance, ownership changes and investor representation.

Research requests for information from buy-side and sell-side analysts, financial journalists, other investment professionals and senior management. Respond to inquiries from individual investors.

Assist in developing and verifying information, speeches, and reports including but not limited to:

Financial presentations

Corporate “story”

Corporate financial data

Special projects

Communicate with New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), specialist firms and transfer agent

Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or related field PLUS the following job-related experience:

Working knowledge of compiling and interpreting financial data related to corporate financial filings, the stock market, financial conditions, forecasts and financial earnings.

Knowledge of methodologies and terminology used to identify, target, and develop communications appropriate to financial audiences.

Demonstrated ability to compile, review, and/or prepare information for financial publications such as annual reports, financial reports, and other projects.

Demonstrated ability to research, prepare and communicate financial information.

Working knowledge to review and interpret shareholder and investor materials, financial data, reports, legislative and regulatory reports and filings, publications, journals, and security analyst updates.

General understanding of financial models used by analysts in their company valuation process and ratios such as earnings per share, return on equity, etc.

Application of math and algebra.

Strong written communication skills.

Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software.

Working knowledge and/or training related to:

Spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Monitoring/analyzing industry trends

Governmental rules and regulations

Disclosure requirements

Demonstrated ability to interact, consult, and communicate effectively.

Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.

Communicate and/or exchange information or instructions.

Certification and Licensing

Applicable driver’s license. Requires travel to various locations in and out of state.

Physical Requirements

Mobility to travel in and around office facilities.

Visual Requirements

Sufficient to perform job duties.
