This position works closely with vendors, contractors and operations field staff on the direct support of all aspects of field SCADA equipment.Responsibilities may include:Comply with all applicable DOT and OSHA regulations, and safety policies and proceduresPerforming all duties of this position with a focus on safety, environmental protection and regulatory compliancePerforming installation, calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of equipmentPerforming and providing technical support for installation, calibration, maintenance, and repairs of instrument and electrical equipmentPerforming planned maintenance checks and calibration and timely submits appropriate reportsCreating and responding to SAP notifications and process work ordersMaintaining current and accurate documentation of maintenance activitiesMinimizing downtime and unsafe conditions by performing preventative and predictive maintenanceMaintaining technical and administrative records, including prints and project reportsInitiating Management of Change requests for proposed changes to equipment, instrumentation and programsAssisting supervisors in changing technology/budget requirementsPursuing cost reduction opportunitiesBe on call, responding to emergencies and maintain emergency response preparednessDriving teamwork throughout the area of responsibilitySupervising, directing and training contract crewsActive involvement in Safety Action PlansCompleting and maintaining required safety/regulatory training (CBT)QualificationsBasic/Required:Legally authorized to work in the United StatesValid Driver License1 years experience as an I&E technician in the oil and gas industryIntermediate level of technical knowledge and training to maintain instrument and electrical equipmentExperience with low, medium, and high voltage circuitsAbility and willingness to perform/comply with following:Willing and able to climb various ladders and stairs to perform maintenance on equipment. The ladders and stairs range up to 50 feet in heightWilling and able to raise and transport articles weighing up to 50 poundsWilling and able to walk, stand, stoop, sit, climb, and carry material on a daily basis on even and uneven terrainWilling and able to work outside in harsh weather conditionsWilling to work alone a high percentage of the time Wear personal protective equipment (PPE)Willingness to be on callWilling and able to work unscheduled overtimePreferred:3 years experience as an I&E technician in the oil and gas industryAssociate's degree in Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) or related degree fieldGenesis SCADA experienceTelecom experiencePLC programming experienceExperience with Allen Bradley products, (i.e., PLC's, HMI's, drives, etc)Proficient (perform with limited assistance) with Microsoft Access, PowerPointExcellent communication and teamwork skillsOrientation toward continuous process improvementAbility to read and understand electrical drawings (i.e., P&ID's, C&E's)Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by courageously dealing with important problems, holding others accountable, and standing up for what is rightGenerates effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethicalListens actively and invites dialogue to gain a shared understanding, then influences and acts to driveIn order to be considered for this position you must complete the entire application process, which includes answering all prescreening questions and providing your eSignature on or before the requisition closing date of December 13, 2017. Candidates for this U.S. position must be a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as permanent resident, refugee, asylee or temporary resident under 8 U.S.C. 1160(a) or 1255(a) (1).
