Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Load Balancer Offering Manager in the IBM Cloud Network Tribe. The Offering Manager owns strategy for IBM Cloud Load Balancer Service offerings within a market segment, determines its user value proposition, and defines the differentiated offering. Sets detailed direction and priorities across disciplines to bring offering to market. Accountable for driving financial results for offering based on key outcome metrics, which include profitable growth of market share in target segment and revenue and profit performance vs. plan. Participate in architecture and solution sessions.

Perform market opportunity analysis to contribute to the segment point-of-view (POV). Leverage stakeholder networks, monitors trends, and actively engage prospects to identify potential growth opportunities. Outline strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of major competitive offerings, feature/functionality differences, and estimates of competitor share across geographies. Leverage business analytic tools to derive insights and scenario analysis to develop or hone appropriate strategic responses.

Develop and deliver innovative offerings to market, define all offering elements and value proposition including components, functionality, UI/UX needs, customer success, digital engagement, APIs, and ecosystem requirements. Interpret client needs and use case scenarios, translate needs into differentiating and innovative offering design requirements, and provide a long-term roadmap and release plan for the offering as a key component of the strategic plan. Utilize software development of network and security protocols following agile, design thinking and DevOps methodologies; Cloud Network services; Market/Competitive analysis in Software Defined Networking; and Route-to-market strategy (digital and enterprise).

Any Location in US: Preferred in San Jose, CA.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in product management or development in Cloud and/or Network Services

Demonstrated executive communication skills, both written and oral

Demonstrable experience in coordinating with multiple teams and multiple projects

English: Fluent
