Position Description:

The HRM is responsible for supporting all senior level positions and designated departments as it relates to HR within the organization of multiple site providing day to day direction to locations (Employee relations; Recruitment; Performance Management; and Talent Management/Development). This also includes championing Diversity initiatives and goals in our HR practices.

Collaborate with other staff HRMs on a variety of HR projects and initiatives. Serves as the designated expert on the interpretation of human resource policies issues. Develops and assists the implementation of human resource programs.

- Responsible for leading a complex recruitment for all exempt, non-exempt and hourly positions in the facility. This includes meeting with hiring supervisors and managers to develop a recruiting strategy, utilization of appropriate recruiting sources, and interviewing.

- Develop and manage new hire orientation process.

- Manage performance management process and access developmental needs of staff. Develop, conduct and/or coordinate training programs, which address these developmental needs.

- Work with site leaders and HPVP to build strategies for succession plans

- Act as company liaison in dealing with federal agencies such as EEOC and OSHA.

- Work with operations to ensure the annual training schedule is established and monitor completion of safety training through documentation. Obtain safety-training materials and develop various safety training programs.

- Provide expert human resources related guidance and educate senior leaders in order to minimize legal risk for the organization.

- Ensure OSHA and legal employment practice compliance.

- Oversee management of Workers compensation. Implement strategies to reduce the number and cost of WC claims.

- The HRM contributes to the business strategy by helping senior leaders to identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.

- Participates as needed on client senior management teams to fully understand their strategy and business, and provides advice and guidance on strategic staffing issues such as succession planning,

- Staff management - supervise, lead, orient, guide and support a staff of four direct

- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding employees.

- Work with Corporate Shared Services to provide assistance for employees with regard to health benefit, pension and 401(k) issues.

- Synthesizes complex metrics; collects and researches data; uses intuition and experience to complement data.

- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.

- Organize and coordinate company events such as recognition programs/parties and special occasions. by planning, placing orders and ensuring everything is in place to make a successful

event.

- Employee relations - manage the employee relations function organization-wide and for designated departments

Position Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related combination of education and experience

- Five to Seven years in Human Resources Management, three years of which must have been in a supervisory position; preferably at multiple sites.

- PHR or SPHR certification preferred

- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

- Previous experience with multiple sites preferred

- Five to Seven years of full life-cycle recruitment experience and knowledge of international recruitment processes

- Employment law in diverse markets

- Experience in a public company reporting headcount, metrics and leading the payroll function.

- Knowledge of innovative job-posting, proactive recruitment and short listing, interviewing and hiring techniques

- Microsoft Office HRIS, applicant tracking systems, performance management systems

- Good public speaking and presentation skills, strong communicator who speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Listens and gets clarification

- Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Ability to pay attention to details and be organized

- Ability to project a professional image over the phone and in person

- Commitment to internal client and customer service principles

- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects

- Willingness to travel up to 15% to other site, most travel is domestic.

- Notary Public preferred

- Ability to facilitate meetings

- Balances team and individual responsibilities. Exhibits objectivity and openness to others views; gives and welcomes feedback.

- Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office Suite, PeopleClick, ADP)
