Position Summary and Responsibilities

Well-established supplier of interconnect systems and high-voltage components for the aerospace industry in the Culver City area is seeking an HR Generalist (Administrator 3). This is a shared position that will work between Culver City and Hawthorne.  This position will report to the Segment Lead, Director, Human Resources in the Culver City office.  Summary:The Human Resource Generalist will provide a broad range of support including but not limited to: benefits administration, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action, workers compensation and employment law compliance.Responsibilities include:
Resolving problems by utilizing HR knowledge and business experience
Managing multiple projects concurrently and seeing them through to completion
Responding with a sense of urgency
Anticipating business needs and partnering with executive management team to execute operational goals
Develop successful internal/external business partnerships 
Other projects or duties as assigned
This position will regularly work in excess of 40 hours weekly. Ability to work weekends and evenings when needed for workload is also required.

Qualifications

Requirements/Knowledge/Skills:
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a progressive HR role
Knowledge of CA law (employment, leaves of absence)
Previous experience with AAP plans
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ADP eV5 & iCIMS applicant tracking and recruiting system a plus
Positive, professional demeanor and capable of working as a team 
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Must be a U.S person or U.S citizen
