Description JOB SUMMARY: The HR Data Governance Manager will be responsible for leading a team of individuals responsible for developing, communicating, and maintaining the HR related Data Governance and Data Quality strategies. The manager will be responsible for setting the policies and standards that govern workforce data, owns demonstration of compliance with identified controls and drives discussions to evolve business processes to improve quality, protection and effort to maintain workforce information. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education Bachelor\u2019s Degree required (Statistics, IT Systems, Business or Human Resources preferred) Experience 7 years\u2019 experience and proficiency in HR data management, data privacy, business process design, and general HR systems functionality and operations. Direct knowledge of various HR systems (PeopleSoft HCM, Taleo Recruiting, SumTotal LMS, Talent Management) Deep and thorough understanding of HR data elements and underlying technologies used to capture and maintain HR data Strong understanding of HR business processes Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative solutions in support of HR Experience participating in external networks specific to HR Data quality and governance Experience managing a team Demonstrated project management skills Knowledge\/Skills Strong leadership skills with management experience required Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to translate data management concepts into daily business process Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to bring people together to eliminate barriers and reach solutions Ability to establish relationships and influence decisions Minimum 5 years of background in Human Resources required, demonstrated knowledge of Human Resource functions Self-motivated, delivery oriented individual with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple projects on time delivery. Strong organization, time and project management skills Creative and strategic thinker, solutions oriented leader with superior relationship and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated consulting skills, initiative to influence change, proactive thinker Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines on a regular basis. Ability to understand and react quickly to changing priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Possess critical thinking skills MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Set strategy for managing access to workforce data, applying workforce data governance guidelines and HR strategies to drive access decisions Manage a team of analyst in meeting the demands for protecting and managing the integrity of workforce information Establish strong relationships and collaborate with HR business partners to identify proactive business process improvements that positively impact data quality\/integrity and efficiency to process Establish external relationships and participate in HR workforce data management councils to share\/understand best practice Define and communicate data quality KPIs and monitor and measure them against completeness, validity, accuracy, consistency, integrity and timeliness, including development and maintenance of scorecard and dashboard views Develop on-going audits of data access including evaluation of workforce data use as well as controls related to sensitive information Partnering with other HR (Compensation, Talent) and non-HR (Finance, Supply Chain, Payroll, IT) functions to ensure overall quality and governance and to deliver accurate and timely data and information as required Resolve and escalate data quality issues, research and implement solutions to correct problems at the source where possible, including leading standardization, re-structuring, training, and education initiatives and campaigns Manage compliance with policies on the defined frequencies.
