Human Resources Coordinator

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing human resources related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior human resources management in supporting designated departments and field offices. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Health and Wellness, Employee Safety and Compliance, Employee Activities and Events and Training. This is a great opportunity for a college graduate with one to two years of Human Resources experience.

Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsible for coordinating Health and Wellness Initiatives for the company

Research and communicate wellness events and activities

Organize, promote, implement, and monitor wellness initiatives

Work closely with Benefits Team on Health and Wellness Fairs

Manage reimbursements for Fitness Center memberships dues

Coordinate Employee Safety and Compliance Programs and Events

Coordinate and manage all safety events

Coordinate and manage CPR Training

Work closely with Information Security Team and Facilities Management to carry-out employee safety events

Ensure employee safety equipment and materials are in compliance

Maintain first-aid supplies

Coordinate Employee Events and Activities

Work closely with HR Directors to coordinate employee activities

Coordinate employee events at all home office locations

Oversee Employee Activities Committee

Coordinate, plan, and promote a variety of campaigns and special promotions throughout the year to enhance employee morale

Coordinate building vendors and employee discounts

Recruit and schedule breakfast, lunch vendors and vending

Locate and communicate weekly discounts for employees

Facilitate training for employees and front-line managers

Assist HR Department with various projects and functions, as needed

Required Skills

Ability to interact effectively with business partners and all levels of management

Ability to work within a team, take initiative and participate in all HR functions

Attention to detail is critical

Excellent organizational skills, customer service orientation, highest level of accuracy, and strong verbal and written communication skills required

Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Required Experience

Associates degree or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred

A minimum of two years of related experience
