Globe Life is presently seeking a Benefits Human Resources Business Partner to contribute to Human Resources and organizational development by managing a comprehensive benefits strategy ensuring compliance with local legislation, market practice and company guidelines.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop progressive and proactive programs to provide motivation, incentives and rewards for effective performance and to provide programs which utilize an employee and company partnership for the short and long-range health and welfare protection of the employees.

Continually assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries and markets.

Design, evaluate and modify policies to ensure that programs are in line with market practices, competitive and in compliance with statutory requirements.

Coordinate the annual benefits renewal process and manage outsourced consultative or administrative relationships.

Coordinate and manage corporate Wellness activities, safety programs and employee events.

Develop and conduct presentations and training related to benefits and compensation programs to ensure managers and employees understand applicable programs.

Perform annual compliance activity as it related to the compensation and benefits plans.

Work to ensure benefits and compensation plan documents are updated and accurate in relation to the plan and all plan compliance needs.

Work to measure the effectiveness of the benefits and compensation plans by creating and monitoring plan performance metrics.

Manage annual corporate incentive plan process.

Manage, evaluate and develop team members.

Required Skills

An experienced leader with appropriate industry experience, preferably in the insurance field.

An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.

A strategic planner with sound thinking, analytical ability, good judgement and strong operational focus.

A well-organized and self-directed individual and a team player.

An articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.

A decisive individual who possesses a strategic focus as well as an operational, implementation and detail oriented perspective.

Diverse experiences in managing a range of administrative areas of responsibility.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Five plus years’ experience with a focus in benefits required.
