Known for innovation, diversification, and\\rexcellent financial performance. \\rThe\\rBody and Fuel Division drive profitability by leveraging its innovative\\rsolutions and application engineering.  In addition to ITW’s industry\\rleading research and development capabilities, ITW Body and Fuel enhances our\\rcustomers’ competitive advantage.  Body and Fuel is a business group\\rwithin ITW’s Automotive segment with manufacturing locations in North America. \\rOur Body and Fuel products are made up of housings and doors, innovative\\rCapless solutions and charge ports for major OEMs around the world\\rRole\\rSummary:\\rThe HR Generalist for the\\rITW Body and Fuel Division will report to an HR Manager and support their\\rassigned manufacturing facility (hourly and salaried population) by acting as a\\rfront-line resource for people related issues. \\rThe HR Generalist will handle a variety of HR activities including, but\\rnot limited to:  compensation,\\rrecruitment, coaching, performance management, employee relations, culture and\\rlearning & development.  This person\\rwill actively participate as a member of the HR team to identify, recommend,\\rdevelop and implement HR programs and practices that deliver required results\\rin support of the overall business objectives.  Liaises with other HR colleagues within the\\rdivision and manages special projects as needed. \\r \\rThe candidate should have\\r1-3 years of experience interfacing with client groups in an HR Generalist\\rrole.  A Bachelor’s degree in HR, or\\rrelated field, is a must; and experience with employee relations and legal\\rinvestigations is highly preferred.  The\\rHR Generalist should be able to successfully execute against multiple tasks and\\rdeadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment.  This person should have exceptional\\rcommunication skills, the ability to influence stakeholders, and experience\\rwith developing and delivering group presentations and trainings.  Minimal travel may be required.\\r \\rPrimary\\rResponsibilities:\\r\\r \\r Manage\\r employee relations to ensure a consistent application of policy and practice,\\r including coaching/counseling, employee investigations, progressive discipline\\r and problem resolution\\r \\r \\r Develop\\r and drive HR related programs, policies and practices which support positive\\r work culture.\\r \\r \\r Conducts\\r exit interviews and partners with business leaders to close identified gaps.\\r \\r \\r Support\\r site initiatives with Safety and OSHA compliance.\\r \\r \\r Produce\\r monthly headcount and safety reports.\\r \\r \\r Work\\r with functional management to support talent acquisition needs.  This includes support with job descriptions,\\r leveling of new roles, sourcing candidates, interviews and offers.\\r \\r \\r Support\\r HR Manager with driving results from talent planning activities (succession\\r planning, etc.) with a focus on achieving diversity and creating developmental\\r plan for high performing/high potential staff.\\r \\r \\r Coach\\r and counsel employees and supervisors on issues of employee transfers and\\r promotions\\r \\r \\r Identify\\r common trends and issues related to individual development needs among staff\\r and partner with HR Manager and line staff to develop and implement appropriate\\r solutions\\r \\r \\r Research\\r and create learning and development programs and resources.  Facilitate developmental training for\\r employees.  \\r \\r \\r Support\\r line staff through the performance review process.\\r \\r \\r Conduct\\r annual market research and propose annual wage table for hourly roles.  Coordinate the annual compensation and bonus\\r process\\r \\r \\r Track\\r attendance and performance points for hourly manufacturing employees.  Generate disciplinary actions in partnership\\r with Production Supervisors and assist with delivery of suspensions and\\r terminations.\\r \\r \\r Facilitate\\r and drive improvements to the new hire orientation and onboarding process\\r \\r \\r Willingness\\r to travel 10% of the time.  \\r \\r
