Job Description

The Human Resources Administrator is a key role that administers candidate and new hire information, including candidate background and drug screen results, employment eligibility and verification such as I-9 Forms and the e-Verify process, and data entry of new hire information into the HRIS system. Responsibilities include administrative management of background and drug screen dispositions, collection and data entry of new hire documentation into the HRIS system, and employment eligibility and verification processes.


Collect and review new hire documentation from business units, ensure that all necessary information is complete. Provide accurate and timely input into the HRIS system.

Answer candidate and hiring manager questions about the background check/drug screen process. Act as the liaison with the People Development Managers for all background check/drug screen dispositions. Communicate directly with hiring managers as necessary to resolve problems and complete the screening process.

Ensure completion of I-9 Forms and process timely through e-Verify. Bring any issues to appropriate manager.

Maintain employee recordkeeping systems including employee files and electronic records.

Support the Benefits Team through materials preparation and special projects.

Provide general administrative support for ADPI’s new hire orientation program.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 2 years of directly related experience in general Human Resource administration.

Demonstrated expertise in both written and verbal communications.

Knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook as well as the Internet/Intranet.
