Williamson Medical Center is hiring an Environmental Services Aide to perform housekeeping duties at the hospital in Franklin, TN.  This is a full-time position with paid time off and other excellent benefits.

Job Summary
The purpose of this job is to clean all designated WMC facilities using the proper procedures and equipment as assigned by Environmental Service management.  All WMC Polices and Procedures and Standards of Performance will be followed at all times.

Key Results:
\t1. Knows and can write or verbalize 8 step cleaning procedures:
Knows 8 steps in order 4 of 4 times = exceeds expectations
Knows 8 steps 3 of 4 times = meets standard
Knows less than 8 steps 2 of 4 times = below standard
\t2. Can demonstrate 8 step cleaning procedure:
Can demonstrate 8 steps in order 4 of 4 times = exceeds expectation
Can demonstrate 8 steps 3 of 4 times = meets standard
Can demonstrate less that 8 steps 2 of 4 times = below standard
\t 
\t3. Annual average Press Ganey room cleanliness score at evaluation time:
Score equal to or greater than 86 = exceeds expectations
Score 84 up to 85.9 = meets standard
Score less than 84 = below standard
Individuals assigned to an area for 6 months or more will receive the score for that area.  All other personnel will receive department score at the time of the evaluation.

\t4. Annual average Press Ganey courtesy score at evaluation time:
Score equal to or greater than 88 = exceeds expectations
Score 86 up to 87.9 = meets standard
Score less than 86 = below standard
Individuals assigned to an area for 6 months or more will receive the score for that area.  All other personnel will receive department score at the time of the evaluation.

\t5. Annual employee attendance record (since last evaluation)
Employee has 3 or less occurrences of unscheduled absence = exceeds expectations

\t6. Annual employee tardiness record (since last evaluation) 
Employee has been late 5 or less times = exceeds expectations
Employee has been late between 6 and 10 times = meets standard

Score of 92 or above = exceeds expectations
Score of 82 to 91 = meets expectations
Score of 81 or below = below standard

Score of 92 or above = exceeds expectations
Score of 82 to 91 = meets expectation
Score of 81 or less = below standard
\t9. Annual score of ES Chemical Training checklist:
Score of 92 or above = exceeds expectations
Score of 81 to 91 = meets expectation
Score of 81 or below = below standard
\t10. Annual score of ES Safety Rules \\ Policies:
Score of 92 or above = exceeds expectations
Score of 81 to 91 = meets expectation

Job Requirements
Formal Education / Training:
High school graduate or equivalent work experience.  Must either have the ability to understand and follow basic verbal communications and \\ or written instructions in English or be willing to submit to English skills assessment and attend English classes provided by the hospital to acquire necessary basic language skills within 90 days of employment  
\tWorkplace Experience:
Cleaning experience preferred or any successful work experience that has shown the candidate has the ability to learn.  Must possess the interpersonal skills to establish and maintain good relationships with co-workers
\tEquipment and Skills Training:
Experience operating any cleaning tools preferred or the ability to learn to operate tools as needed
\tPhysical Environment:
All assigned areas of WMC including offices, departments, corridors, and clinical areas
\tPhysical Effort:
Prolonged standing, stooping, bending, pulling, pushing, walking, and carrying objects weighing up to 45 pounds.  The job requires manual dexterity and the ability to move the hand easily and skillfully.  Must be able to see, balance, stoop, crouch, reach, feel, and communicate.
