Facebook is seeking an experienced sales and marketing leader with demonstrated success managing established and emerging business categories. The Head of Industry will lead the Facebook monetization strategy for the Emerging Disruptors vertical in the US. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with the ability to work cross-functionally to develop scalable solutions for their clients and their teams. They will have achieved success as leaders of change/operational excellence by introducing new performance measures, processes and systems. In the role, they will build and manage a small strategically focused / consultative sales team, selling Facebook advertising solutions to advertisers. We are looking for a self-starter who has demonstrated success, dealing with ambiguity and successfully managing teams with problem-solving leadership and limited oversight. Ideal candidates will have management experience in a sales environment as well as extensive experience selling cross-network online marketing solutions such as integrated sponsorships and display advertising within the digital marketing industry.

Responsibilities

Play the lead role in developing the holistic business of the Entertainment’s TV & Film vertical

National responsibility for architecting strategies to build the category in both developed and undeveloped markets

Work cross-functionally with In Market teams, Global Regions, Business Operations, Platform, Measurement/Metrics, and Product Marketing to optimize our client efforts

Consult with Product Marketing to help shape product development in support of client needs

Work intimately with Partnerships team to establish relationships and/or 3rd party partnerships in support of business retention and growth

Guide the creation of persuasive presentations and stories that demonstrate the value of Facebook to clients for both b2c marketing

Identify the winning strategies and scale the insights throughout the vertical, domestically and shared globally

Increase the effectiveness of the team by recognizing opportunities for new approaches

Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales and services for Facebook, including a good understanding of working with advertisers and agencies

Build, train and maintain a high performing team

Minimum Qualifications

15 years marketing and sales experience

7 years in digital media

5 years management experience

Demonstrated experience using advertising data to craft media strategy

Entertainment related (TV and Film) & Ad technology Industry sales experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading cross-functional teams and people not directly reporting to you

Experience driving revenue growth with emerging opportunities and established partnership

Strong understanding of the technology and trends that are changing the entertainment business

Comfortable in solving both performance based and branding objectives

Skilled storyteller with experience communicating the benefit of marketing opportunities to brands

Exceptional communication and presentation skills with an emphasis on translating insights, product information, and data into client value

Ability to perform well in highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment

Proven ability to forge relationships with top marketing decision makers at brands and agencies

Demonstrable success as a leader of change, achieving operational excellence by introducing new performance measures, processes and systems

Avid Facebook & Instagram user and knowledge of the media landscape, reseller channels and vertical markets
