Job Family Summary
The Workforce Technology Solutions (WTS) Team drives the maximization of our digital technology investment to deliver a consumer-grade experience adapted to people, roles and personas that provides targeted data to inform business insights and enable decision making.
The Workforce Technology Solutions Associate Manager leads functional and user experience analysts within select product scrum teams that drive business value with a backlog and priorities within scrum methodology to deliver on a minimal viable product aligned with business and HR strategies and visions. Responsible for team development, ensuring vision across WTS to align with HR strategy and vision. Oversees other aspects of governance and budget management as well.
Workforce Technology Solutions Team Management:
Provides leadership and development for functional and user experience analysts for specific product teams
Develops, coaches and cultivates the behaviors of the team to foster the culture needed in an agile environment
Establishes business cases for acquisition and partnership of complimentary resources to enable the work of the scrum team
Supports the design of the scrum team and implements agile process methodology within the team, along with the other members of the leadership team.
Enables digital strategy vision by partnering with peer managers and scrum teams
Participates in Scrum of Scrum meetings to ensure WTS business, HR strategies and visions are aligned with product releases
Stay connected to scrum masters to support/facilitate removing impediments with resources
Responsible for staying current with industry trends and insights, and educating the team
Ensures security and governance compliance while promoting a risk-aware culture
Adhering to required standards and processes by ensuring efficient, effective risk and compliance management practices.
Internal partner relationship management (i.e. IBM, information technology, etc.)
Is a stakeholder for the incremental product releases
Reviews and provides approval with other stakeholders on design requirements
Provides approval with other stakeholders on release acceptance
Reviews and provides approval with other stakeholders on testing scripts
Monitor scrum program expense budgets aligned with product backlog/product releases
Monitor contractual service obligations with external vendors
In partnership with leadership and the product owner, supports the development of the overall product area roadmaps aligned with broader WTS, business and HR strategies and visions
Enables digital strategy vision
Supports continuous improvement of existing programs, policies and procedures.
Recognizes gaps or operational issues and develops preventative measures and strategies to improve.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Demonstrated leadership and business expertise
Approximately 5 years of experience with technology systems administration, support or development
Experience with HRIS/HCM technology; SAP/SuccessFactors preferred
Demonstrated competency of Agile Scrum best practices, methodologies and ceremonies. Understands and upholds the scrum framework and strives for early acceptance of stories
Proficient in Jira, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and working knowledge of SharePoint
Experience with large change management efforts preferred
Able to manage and set expectations with stakeholders and displays strong negotiation skills
Possesses a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
Applied experience developing technology solutions operating within a business or technology role
Functional knowledge of HR processes and technology
Understanding of how people and talent management data is used and integrated
Prior experience or the ability to work in a complex corporate environment
Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to communicate complex information clearly and logically to a variety of audiences.
Understand business process integration, design and handoffs
Deals effectively with ambiguity, change, and adapts appropriately to a range of situations
Displays strong self-awareness, collaboration and empathy. Ability to motivate, encourage, influence and empower others
