OVERALL SUMMARY:

Providing our customers with an optimal shopping experience is our #1 priority. The HBO Shop Sales Ambassador is responsible for generating sales by engaging and connecting with customers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Sales Ambassador is responsible for enhancing the customer experience by maintaining a neat, clean working and shopping environment.

Execution of all HBO Shop operational processes including: shipment processing, stockroom maintenance, replenishment of sales floor, recovery of the sales floor, markdowns, signage and cash wrap maintenance, as well as maintaining merchandise presentation standards throughout the store are also key responsibilities of this position.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creates a positive, welcoming experience for customers (Joyful, Social and Approachable)

Drives customer service and increases sales.

Understands Fashion and Trends /Knowledgeable of HBO Shows/ Strong Communicator.

Ensures that merchandise and store are easy to shop and accessible to customers (Self Starter/Able to make Decisions / Problem Solving)

Contributes to a positive working environment (Respectful / Responsible / Team Oriented)

Demonstrates a customer first mindset and is accessible at all times to ensure every customer has a great experience.

Connects with customers by asking open-ended questions to assess needs and make relevant merchandise suggestions.

Inform customers on our product, offers, promotions and HBO Programs such as: Game of Thrones, True Blood, and GIRLS.

Speaks with knowledge and confidence to customers about styles, fit, fabrics, price and trends.

Drives store sales by suggesting additional items to customers to meet their needs and wants.

Processes customer transactions efficiently and accurately.

Understands working in a corporate like environment and must conduct themselves professional manner at all times.

Consistently provides support to fellow employees through sharing of knowledge, helping to complete tasks and/or assisting in customer interactions.

Executes all operational processes effectively and efficiently including: shipment processing, replenishment, recovery, markdowns, signage and cash wrap processes.

Ensures the stock room is neat, clean and organized at all times.

Supports the store visual presentation by upholding standards throughout the day.

Maintains the sales floor and cash-wrap areas to meet shop standards.

Completes any assignment directed by a Management that services the customer and achieves efficient store operation.

Upholds data integrity guidelines when counting inventory, processing shipment and cashiering

Must have experience with POS systems, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a high school diploma.

Previous 3 to 4 years' experience in retail preferred.

Ability to demonstrate professionalism on and off the sales floor.

Must have experience with POS systems, Microsoft Word, Excel and Word.

Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate.

Ability to follow written and verbal instruction and meet deadlines on tasks/projects.

Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs.

Ability to maneuver around sales floor and stockroom and climb ladders.

Ability to meet work schedule availability requirements.
